International Workers' Day

March and Rally

May 1, International Workers' Day, recognizes and celebrates the achievements of the trade union movement and highlights current worker struggles. Join NASA and our allies for the third annual campus march and rally to mark May Day!

Friday, May 1 | Noon - 1 pm

  • Assemble at the corner of 87 Ave & 112 St (south of the Timms Centre) at noon
  • March to Main Quad, arriving at about 12:20 pm

Lunch will be provided to NASA members who RSVP to let us know you're coming!

Sign and Button-making session

In preparation for International Workers' Day, the NASA Political Action & Member Education Committee invites you invites you to bring your creativity and join us for a sign and button-making session to prepare for the march! 

Wednesday, April 22 | Noon – 1:00 pm
Marigold Room, Lower Level, Students' Union Building


We'll provide all the supplies to make signs and buttons to bring and wear at the May Day event and have coffee, tea, and light snacks.
