In honour of Black History Month, the NASA Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee will be hosting an event, "Together, for a fair and equitable university and society," to highlight the contributions of Black communities to the labour movement and Canadian society.
We have invited the African Centre to present on the realities faced by African and Caribbean communities in the diaspora. We hope this event strengthens the sense of belonging within our communities, unions, and educational institutions while bridging differences.
This event will be held in a hybrid format on Monday, February 23 from noon to 1:15 pm:
- In person: Orion Room, Students' Union Building
- Online on Zoom
Registration is required to attend online so we can send you the link.
A light lunch will be served for members who register in advance to attend the event in person.
