Disability Pride Month event

The NASA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Committee invites you to celebrate Disability Pride Month with us on Wednesday, July 23 from noon to 1:00 pm in the Orion Room of the Students' Union Building (SUB).

We are honored to have Dr. Glynnis Lieb of the Fyrefly Institute as our guest speaker.

This event is an important opportunity to reflect on and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions surrounding disability. By recognizing the diversity of the disability community, we can better promote inclusion, improve accessibility, and defend the rights of people with disabilities. This is especially important as we address the political, structural, and institutional challenges that often hinder equal opportunities for all.

A light lunch will be provided to those who RSVP in advance.

We hope to see you there, whether as a member of the disabled community or as an ally ready to learn from your colleagues.

We encourage you to share this invitation with your colleagues, friends, and families.
